50+ New and Beloved Diverse Winter Holiday Romances for 2025
Last night I hid from trick-or-treaters at my coffee shop and made you a list of 50+ holiday romances. You're welcome. From vacation flings to snowed-in second chances, here's your cozy season TBR.
Hi Librarygoer!
Or shall I say happy holidays? Last night I performed my annual ritual of hiding from the trick-or-treaters at a coffee shop (mine serves cocktails in the evening, yay!) and took an inventory of new and already loved diverse holiday romances. So you’re getting this list! Before I rediscovered my love of reading, I lived for the cheesy holiday romance movies.
I still watch them from time to time, like when I want to yell at the screen about the small town woman living in the big city who returns to her hometown and is working remotely on a Christmas marketing campaign assigned on December 20th. As a marketer, I know that storyline is unrealistic because the Christmas campaign planning season begins between January and July. These movies get to skate over as much reality as they want because the “gee whiz, it’s Christmas” is the important part.
In a holiday romance novel, they are all the important parts. The plot, the characters, and their happily ever afters.
If you haven’t read many (or any) holiday romances, I hope this list gives you some place to start. If you are already an aficionado, I hope there’s at least one or two you haven’t gotten your hands on—including the 2025 new releases.
Happy Reading (& Pre-Ordering)!

I’m saving this list for books to add to my TBR! Thank you for curating it.
